• How can you describe the Aunt’s way of controlling the children? Explain and justify

The aunt doesn't know how to control the children, thus she avoids dealing with their boredom and suggests they look out the window to occupy themselves. Unfortunately for the aunt, "observation" only serves to spark additional questions, and she has no patience for their innate curiosity. In an attempt to keep them quiet, she decides to tell them a story...... a conventional, moralistic tale which fails to capture the interest of the children and creates even bigger discontent.
