When does the first hint of the Song of Evil come to Kino with his pearl?

The Song of Evil, the symbolic representation of everything that will ruin the life of Kino and his family, is first heard when the scorpion climbs down the rope of Kino's cradle. In a way, this is the narrative moment when the real action of the novel begins and the story is moved into a more active mode. Kino and Juana begin to take care of Coyotito after the scorpion bites him and the story really begins its rising action toward the climax.
