The Old Man and the Sea

although the young fishermen make fun of Santiago he is not angry with them. what does this reveal about him?

Santiago was a humble man, who showed great strength amidst great adversity. He doesn't get angry at the men because he's been around and experienced many things in his life. He understands that they have no idea what they're doing.
