Why didn't the director cast the girl "Snoop" from the Wire, to play a part in this project?

The little black girl from the Wire who's real nick name is Snoop would have been perfect for this characture. I am a big fan of the girl "Snoop". She is a straignt up gangster who is an actress and brings genuine realism to the screen. Check her out and see what I'm talking about. She played a small roll on the Wire several years ago. I think she is a real resident of Baltimore, where the Wire took place. She also used the nick name, street handle, of Snoop in the Wire. She played opposite Reggy Williams "Omar Little". He knows who she is in real life.
