What indications are there at the end of the chapter that Tom and Daisy are going to stay together despite his philandering and her love for Gatsby?

People in Tom and Daisy's social strata don't get divorced. They have affairs, keep up their social obligations, and pretend their world is just perfect. Once Gatsby opens his mouth to her husband, Daisy immediately reacts to preserve face. I don't believe Gatsby ever had a chance, and the one person who knew that was Tom.
