The Great Gatsby

Do you think the Gatsby alter ego helped James Gatz realize his dreams? If so, how?

Unfortunately, Jay Gatz's dream was to make himself a worthy husband for the love of his life.... Daisy Buchanan. Jay Gatsby realizes the financial part of the dream..... he makes the attempt to reconnect, something that Jay sees as possible. In the end, his dream was an illusion.... thus, neither the alter-ego, nor the man, were successful.
