How are children taught in Jonas’s society? What is your opinion of these methods?

Everything that the children learn is closely monitored and regimented. The children receive and lose things to mark maturity. This "maturity" must, however, conform to basic specific personality expectations by the Elders. The latter part of this question is asking for your opinion rather than mine. I think it is all rather controlling and manipulative.
