Do you mean inferences from before I read the story or after reading the introduction?

In the ¨House of Usher¨ and ¨House Taken Over¨, imagination overcomes reasoning because untold secrets give the characters fear. For example, the narrator says when I uplifted my eyes to the house itself, from its image in the pool, there grew in my mind, a strange fancy” (15). This example supports my thesis because I explain how imagination is reasoning to why the characters have fear.
