Why did Anne tell her diary about her living in the Annex? How did her feelings about her family undergo a change?

Anne "talked" to her diary because in writing about her feelings she could emotionally let out so many of the things she kept inside. The changes within her family included a closer relationship with her mother, a better understanding of her father (who she idolized), and a budding "friendship" with her sister Margot.
