Some people feel that this play leaves audiences with an unrealistic understanding of the Holocaust victims could overcome any difficulty through faith and belief in the goodness of people. How do you feel about this criticism?

The play is a reflection of the book. Really, Anne's diary is meant to reflect on Anne's experience hiding in the annexe rather than the actual Holocaust. Still, there isn't any clear theme about goodness of people rather than simply surviving with people, and all their frailties, in an enclosed space for so long. These are simply human beings trying to avoid a common fate but having to put up with some major "cabin fever".
