The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Explain the irony in Anne Franks writting an essay about her excessive chattiness . How does this history of writing and examing her own feeling translate her own feeling to her need to express herself in her diary?

Anne confesses to her excessive chattiness, and counters this trait in another form..... she writes. Anne shares what she cannot say outloud in her diary..... she chats with Kitty. Likely, Kitty is the one friend who won't talk back or tell her to stop talking.
