What is Christopher's mother like? Is she a good mother?

Some might argue that abandoning a small child will not get you the "mother of the year" award. Unfortunately, Christopher was told his mother was dead, and his mother was never given the opportunity to be a mother, as Christopher's father shut her out. When we finally meet Judy, we see a woman who is genuinely happy to see her son, though, she finds him difficult to handle. In the end, Christopher moves in with his mother.... thus, we see that she is finally going to have the opportunity to fulfill her role.
