How did the horse's behavior make it unsuitable for a family staying in the country side?

The "Brogue" wasn't ideal for life in the country because he was unpredictable. He swerved and reared when in the presence of pigs, flying pheasants, behives, and white fences...... he was also know to be a crib-biter.
