Does The Alchemist Support The Idea, "To achieve great happiness you must be willing to travel to far off places.."?

I need a quote from The Alchemist agreeing or disagreeing with the idea, "To achieve great happiness you must be willing to travel to far off places." Page number and chapter are helpful, but not required.

I don't think one must travel long distances. Santiago had needed to as part of his own personal journey. I think the author is also speaking in metaphor. One must take a chance on seeing the world in a different way: of re-evaluating what is real and not real.
