What does the author mean in the description of colonel Grangerford in the following passage: "When he turned into a cloud - bank it was awful dark for half a minute, and that was enough; there wouldnt nothing go wrong again for a week" (pg110)

Colonel Grangerford had a presence to him. When he was in a bad mood everyone knew but it would never last long. He would return to his more amiable self and, "there wouldnt nothing go wrong again for a week."
