Both Jim and Huck were impressed by their lies; Jim even waited on them. They felt sorry for the King, and yet they were sad and happy at the same time that he was with them........... that's not to say that Huck didn't know they were cons and liars because he did. But as long as there was peace between them all he didn't mind their presence.
