Mr. P visits Junior after being his in the head with a book. Mr.P lays things plain for Junior. Either he leaves the reserve or he ends up like his parents or any other Indian stuck in a sea of poverty an no hope. Junior starts to see that if he is to survive, he must be part of the white world: he must go to school in Rearden.
