Chapter 3 Chemical Reactions - 3-4 Aqueous Solutions - Review & Check for Section 3-4 - Page 110: 3

Answer

A

Work Step by Step

NaCl and NaOH are very soluble ionic compounds, so they dissociate entirely. Acetic acid and ethanol are molecular compounds and ionize, with acetic acid being much more ionized than ethanol (which is a very weak acid). A solution of ethanol would have the least amount of ions and thus would be the worst electrical conductor.
