Chapter 1 - Cells: The Fundamental Units of Life - Questions - Page 38: Question 1-20

Answer

In this slice we can see the plasma membrane, cytoskeleton, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum (ER), and the golgi apparatus. We can also see the mitochondrion, nuclear pore, chromatin, and the transcription complex.

Work Step by Step

The two yellow walls on the far left are the plasma membrane. The cytoskeleton are the large blue strands running through the cell. The ribosomes are the large light purple spheres. The ER is the large vein of black with blue specks and a yellow border (plasma membrane). The golgi apparatus is the yellow swirls on the far right with the blue lines cutting through them. The mitochondrion is the large mass of blue blocks on yellow on the far bottom left. The nuclear pore is the biggest blue sphere. The chromatin are the pink and blue pores next to the transcription complex (the grey fuzzy spheres) on the bottom right.
