That cell would not be able to carry out normal mitotic cell division in which the genetic material is shared between two cells. Aneuplodiy would result in cellular malfunction and in humans would lead to possible development of cancerous tissue. In the most extreme case the cell would not be capable of cell division at all.

The centrosome is usually found near the nucleus of a cell. It has two structures called centrioles which are surrounded by peripheral matrix protein. Each centriole has 27 microtubules which are essential for the development of mitotic spindles which are absolutely necessary for normal mitosis and meiosis.
