Glomerulus is a network or a tuft of capillaries surrounded by bowman's capsule. Glomerulus forms due to the expansion of afferent arterioles into the diffuse capillary bed (glomerular capillaries). The blood enters the glomerular capillaries from afferent arteriole and drains through efferent arteriole.
