Chapter 18 - The Cardiovascular System: The Heart - Review Questions - Page 690: 13b

Answer

The left coronary artery: It goes towards the left side of the heart and it splits into the anterior interventricular and circumflex artery. The interventricular's function is to supply blood to the interventricular septum and anterior walls of the ventricles. Whereas the Circum flex artery main functions with the left atrium and the left ventricle's posterior walls. The right coronary artery divides the right side of the heart and takes the marginal artery which helps the myocardium on the right laterally of the heart, and the posterior interventricular artery which helps the apex and provides blood to the posterior ventricular walls.
