The reason we give words such power is that we live under the illusion that time is real. Everything exists in all things at every moment. If you have ever read or watched the film "The Watchmen ", the character of Dr. Manhattan talks about there being no past, future or present. Time is not linear as we see it. Time merely exists in the moment.
