Who is the pretty & wealthy older woman who encourages Charlotte not to give up on catching Sidney?

She was in the episode of the regatta, and says she came to Sanditon mostly to spend some time with Charlotte. She invites Charlotte to the ball of the wealthy the night after the regatta. I can't remember where they met or who she is. All help appreciated.
