Squizzy asks that Mrs. Feehan ignore the descriptions of him made by journalists, and he assures her that he is nothing more than a man of business. He goes onto compliment Charlie, his speed, and his intelligence, and he even goes so far as to mention thier financial troubles.... a result of Mrs. Feehan's husband's death. Squizzy uses all the angles to convince her to let Charlie come to work for him.
