What is ironic about capulets praise of frair Laurence in the following line's

Ay, marry go I sat and fetch (frair Laurence) hither now afore good this Reverend holy frair all our whole city is much bound to him act 4 scene 2

Friar lawrence is the one who came up with the rather inept plan to help Romeo and Juliet. He also went against Capulet's wishes.
