Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet explores the theme of hatred as much as it does the theme of love. How are love and hate presented in the text? How do they relate to each other in the story?

Love and hate are not far removed from each other in this play: passion brings the two together. While Juliet is supposed to Hate Romeo because of his family, she seems to love him even more, "My only love sprung from my only hate!"This forbidden love connects love and hate into something incandescent.
