Do you disagree or agree that the prince bears no responsibility for what happens in the play and why?

I completely agree that the Prince's actions are not responsible for the tragedy. He wants peace in his city, a peace that neither the Montagues or Capulets respect. His demands were reasonable..... the continuing feud between the families is not.
