Dignity can be found in the character of Maurya, the simplicity of her dignity and her acceptance of the fate of the men in her family speaks loudly........ more of the dignity in her human spirit than her physical stance.

Maurya's comportment and countenance scream of dignity, and yet most people misunderstand that this isn't so much a tragedy of character as it is a tragedy of community.
