Mr. Darcy writes a letter and hands it to Elizabeth. In the letter he expresses his concern over the behaviour of the Bennet family and their lack of wealth and propriety. He excludes Jane and Elizabeth from the behaviour part of it indicating they have more substance to them than the rest of the family.
