Why does George allow Candy to become part of their dream to own a farm?

Candy convinces George to allow him to be a part of the dream because he has the money to help make it come true. Candy also offers to pull his own weight..... it would have been seen as a win/ win situation.

I agree, and also, Candy's money is the only thing that George has come into contact with that would in any way enable him to make his dream come true. George is so taken by the dream at the time and is so involved with his imaginations that he also may not have thought about it as he usually would have and just jumped at the chance.
