What do Crooks and Curley’s wife have in common? Who in your opinion is worse off?

Both characters are incredibly lonely and subjugated. They have little freedom and few people to talk to. I think Curley's wife is even more less fortunate than Crooks. At least Crooks gets to talk to the men and play games outside. Curley's wife is married to an abusive husband and all the men on the ranch avoid her for fear of getting "canned" (fired).
