in the novel Of Mice And Men, crooks is unfriendly at first to lennie, so why does he change his mind now? ASAP!!! I NEED HELP

it is because lennie kind of beat up curley so he feel intimidated or is it something else?

No, I think that Crooks understand quickly that Lennie does not have the racist attitudes the others have. It becomes evident to Crooks that Lennie is mentally challanged. Crooks's animosity subsides when he sees Lennie's limitations. Crooks also wants the company.

Crooks is thrilled to have someone visit him.
