how does george explain his relationship with lennie to Slim? what can you say about George's love of solitaire? what about the name of the town, Soledad?

He tells slim about Lennie's aunt taking care of him. She died and George promised to take care of Lennie. I think that George, like everybody in this novel, is isolated. Lennie isn't that great for adult conversation hence solitaire provides George's only relief. I suppose the town means "one".
