How does Crooks respond to Lennie when Lennie describes George's dream about the rabbits? Why do you think he responds in this way?

Crooks thinks Lennie is crazy. He says he has known plenty of men with similar dreams and they never come true. Crooks, however, is intrigued and wonders if he might be included in the farm dream. He later changes his mind: he knows dreams like that are not real.
