The conditions in the cattle car are atrocious. It is so crowded, most of the Jews are forced to stand. The heat is overwhelming, and they have little to drink or eat. When they arrive in Kaschau, the people panic, as they come to realize they are being taken out of Hungary. The Jews are also threatened and have what is left of their valuables taken away.
