how does eliezer escape the dentist permanently? Why do you think elite Wiesel includes the account of the dentist in his memoir when he does not lose his teeth to the dentist?

Elie says he has a fever and the "dentist" does not want to catch anything. I think the whole situation illustrates how the Jews were treated. Their only "worth" was their "parts" or minerals that had monetary worth.
