Banquo can't sleep because he feels there is "husbandry in Heaven...their candles (stars) are all out". Banquo suspects something unnatural and against God is going to happen. Macbeth blows Banquo off again saying they will talk about the witches another time. Macbeth hallucinates a dagger.
