Masculinity evokes visions of courage, loyalty, intelligence, power, physical strength, emotional strength and dependability. Macbeth is courageous, intelligent, powerful, and strong.... phyisically. Unfortunately, he isn't loyal, dependable, or emotionally strong. He is weak and spineless. Even worse, he's ambitious to the point of enacting murder.
