Why has Ralph decided to call the meeting at the conclusion of chapter 4?

Ralph decides to call a meeting in reaction to the increasing animosity of the boys on the island. The boys are overjoyed at the hunters' kill and the feast it provides, but there is also a huge amount of tension over the fact that Jack's group allowed the fire to die out.
