What does the reader know about the relationships between Jack and Ralph, Jack and Piggy, and Ralph and Piggy.

They are all schoolboys who have crashed onto this island together. Ralph becomes the leader, Piggy becomes Ralph's right hand man, and Jack becomes the leader of the "hunting" group. Ralph and Piggy have essentially the same thoughts and want more than anything to be found. Jack and his group revert more and more to uncivilized behavior and thus see things very differently than the way Piggy and Ralph see things.
