Analyze the reaction of the boys at the end of the novel. How does Ralph behave? Why? How does Percival react?

At first, Ralph attempts to be strong.... to make excuses for their condition, to explain what he tried to do..... to keep order. Then.... Ralph cries. Percival reacts with confusion. He's just a young boy, but during his time on the island, he not only forgot about expectations for behavior..... he forgot his full name and address.
