Letter From Birmingham Jail

What is similar in America today to the ideas you’re seeing in these two letters from 1963? What has changed?

What was the similarities between today and the letter of King to clergymen and the clergymen to King and what changed

I am not an expert on civil rights in America. I would like to say things have changed but we are reminded everyday of inequalities and racial prejudice that plague the country. Certainly having a President of color was an idea unheard of during King's time yet racial strife and inequality still take headline news in places like Los Angeles and Ferguson Missouri. This question is far too involved to give you a good answer in this short forum space. Sadly, I think America still has a long way to go to even begin to realize King's dream.
