Since I cannot see all of answer C, I am going with B.  The point of the drama is not historical accuracy; rather it is that certain events lead up to the climax and that the characters each play a significant role in the tension that leads to the final outcome.  Accuracy does not displace all of the necessary elements of tragedy and drama.
