Indian Horse

“Mustangs” and “stallions” are mentioned more than a few times in chapter 18 and previous chapters dealing with the hockey league at St. Jerome’s. Why do you think that Wagamese favors these terms?

Horses are mythological to Saul and his people. The title of the novel refers to the huge "Indian Horse" brought by his grandfather that defined Saul and his family.
