What is significance of the fact that Trujillo and Minerva both roll doubles?

The fact they both roll double, as well as Minerva's observation that there was a set of loaded dice, causes a standoff between Minerva and Trujillo. Minerva's ultimate victory means she gets to go to law school, but it also means that she is on Trujillo's radar.
