In Bruges

Cultural references

The plot has similarities to Harold Pinter's 1957 one-act play The Dumb Waiter.[10] The film also contains many references to the 1973 Nicolas Roeg film Don't Look Now,[11] including the claim by Chloë that the film-within-a-film is almost an homage to it.
