How is Malala´s life different from the lives of other girls in her community?

Malala's life is different from other girls in the community because of her parents. They value her life, they embrace having a daughter, and they make sure that she is free in her person. She gets to go to school, she is not pigeon-holed into gender specific duties, and she does not see herself as "less" because she is a girl.
