In wearing the high-heels, the girls become aware of their sexuality..... they walk differently, carry themselves differently. The attention the garner, however, isn't exactly positive. In one way, they experience the way their appearance causes others to perceive them differently..... they attracted the attention of men. Their appearance in addition to their play acting at being women definitely puts them in a kind of danger...... the man, for example, who offers to pay for a kiss.
