Mr. Harthouses role in the novel and the reasons for leaving Coketown for ever?

The younger brother of a member of Parliament, Harthouse has agreed to spend some time teaching in the Gradgrind's school. He is lazy and immodest and finds himself tempting Louisa with offers of romance. He leaves Coketown after Sissy tells him never to return.
